    WHY HARVEST HOMEOWNERS CHOOSE US

The Best Fence Company in Harvest AL Is the One That Actually Shows Up

We have been based in Huntsville for over seven years. 3021 Fairacres Rd SW is our home, not a call center in another state. Our name is on every job we build in Harvest, Monrovia, and across Madison County. We are fully licensed and insured, and every job we do comes with a written warranty.

    Fully Licensed and Insured

Alabama state licensed. Fully insured. Your property is protected from day one and there is a real person accountable if anything goes wrong.

    We Handle HOA Approvals

Harvest has no city permit requirement. But most subdivisions here have active HOAs. We review your covenants and submit the paperwork so you never figure out which form to file.

    Local Crew, Local Knowledge

We work in this area constantly. We know Harvest's clay soil, the Monrovia HOA rules, and how to set posts that hold through every Alabama season.

Written Estimates That Do Not Change

Every quote is itemized and handed to you in writing before we lift a tool. What we quote is what you pay. No surprises on the invoice.

    Warranty on Every Job

We back every installation in writing. Something fails on our end, we come back and fix it. Most fence contractors in North Alabama do not offer this. We do.

    On Time, On Budget

We commit to a start date and a finish date. Most Harvest residential installs wrap in one to three days. We hold to it.

WHAT SEPARATES LOCAL FENCE COMPANIES IN HARVEST

Local Fence Companies Harvest AL. Here Is What the Price Difference Actually Buys You.

Anyone can throw up a fence. The difference is what happens after. Six months later a post shifts, a gate sags, and you call the number on the invoice and it rings out. That is the reality with a lot of cheap fence crews operating in North Alabama right now.

    Harvest Fence Quick Reference

Harvest Fence Alabama. Built for This Soil, This County, This Community.

Harvest is unincorporated Madison County, which means no city building permit is required for most installations. Most subdivisions have active HOAs with their own covenants on height, material, color, and style, and the soil here is heavy clay that expands and contracts with every season — posts set at standard depth will lean or heave within a few years. We go deeper and use the right concrete mix.

If anyone is in need of fence work, these guys were incredibly responsive. I contacted them one evening, had a reviewer out next day, final quote a day later, and installing day after. Price was just a few hundred over a non-US person ($5,500 instead of $5,200), and they are all American (gave me a W9 for their Scorp) and talented. They even made a few recommendations, all of which I gladly accepted. They know their craft.

Huntsville Residential Fencing installed a vinyl fence for us. Their quality of work is outstanding. They installed the fence in a couple of days, we thought it would take much longer. We asked about warranties on the work and they provided extensive information regarding material and workmanship warranties. They’re the gold standard for your fencing needs.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions About Fencing and Brick Columns in Harvest, AL

Do I need a permit to install a fence in Harvest, AL?

No, in most cases. Harvest is unincorporated Madison County, which means no city building permit is required for most residential fence installations. However, if your property is in a subdivision with an active HOA, you will need architectural approval before work starts. We handle that submission on your behalf at no extra charge.

How much does fence installation cost in Harvest, AL?

Harvest fence installation typically costs between $15 and $55 per linear foot depending on material. Wood runs $15 to $35, vinyl $25 to $45, aluminum $30 to $60, and chain link $15 to $30. Brick column fences are quoted by project after a site visit. We provide a free written estimate before any commitment.

Brick Column Fencing — Questions We Get Asked Most

What fence material holds up best in Harvest weather?

Vinyl and aluminum handle Harvest's humidity and heat best because they do not rot, rust, or need seasonal treatment. For wood, cedar is the right call because it resists moisture and insects naturally. Pressure-treated pine works at a lower price point but needs staining every two to three years. In Harvest's clay soil, the right post depth matters just as much as the material you choose.

How long does fence installation take in Harvest, AL?

Most Harvest residential installs are completed in one to three days depending on material and fence length. Brick column and larger acreage projects may take longer — we confirm a firm timeline during your free on-site estimate.

What is a brick column fence?

A brick column fence combines masonry columns built from the footing up with fencing panels made from wood, aluminum, vinyl, or wrought iron in the spans between them. The result is a fence that looks permanent and architectural rather than just functional. We build these from scratch in Harvest.

How much does a brick column fence cost in Harvest, AL?

Brick column fence pricing varies significantly more than standard fence types because each project is custom. The cost depends on the number of columns, column height and size, the infill panel material chosen, and total linear footage. We provide a project-specific written quote after a free site visit.

How long do brick column fences last?

The masonry columns, when properly built on a solid footing, can last the life of the home — they do not rot, rust, or degrade the way wood or metal posts eventually do. Vinyl infill panels will typically last 20 to 30 years. Wood panels require maintenance or eventual replacement but can last 10 to 20 years with proper care.

What type of panels go between the brick columns?

Wood, vinyl, aluminum, and wrought iron all pair well with brick columns. The right choice depends on your HOA requirements, privacy needs, and the look you want. Vinyl and aluminum are the lowest maintenance options between columns. We walk through all the options with you before finalizing the plan.

Do I need HOA approval for a brick column fence in Harvest?

If your property is in a Harvest or Monrovia subdivision with an active HOA, yes. Brick column fences often require approval because of their scale and permanent nature. We review your specific covenants before the project begins and submit all required paperwork on your behalf.

Can a brick column fence work on large or rural Harvest lots?

Yes. Brick columns scale well on larger lots by increasing the span between columns while keeping the architectural look. On large Harvest and Monrovia properties, we design the column spacing to keep costs manageable without sacrificing the visual impact. The exact column count is determined during the site visit.
